The CARE Association has been providing insurance and risk management services to Community Centered Boards and Service Provider organizations for over 20 years.  Our customers have access to many benefits and services.  We have been and will continue to work on behalf of our customers to enhance benefits and bring the best of risk management, insurance products, services and support for programs serving individuals with disabilities or special needs.

HOST HOME PROGRAM

The CARE Association offers a Host Home Program for all eligible Host Home Providers in Colorado as well as many other states. The insurance program satisfies all requirements set for Developmental Disabilities at very affordable premiums.

Host Home:
An individual (or individuals) who provide individual residential services and support (IRSS) in his or her home to persons with developmental disabilities.

RESPITE, IN-HOME SUPPORT, COMMUNITY ACCESS (NOT A HOST HOME PROVIDER)

The CARE Association offers an insurance program for individuals providing Respite Care, In-Home Support and Community Access and support to developmentally disabled individuals.

  • Respite:
    An individual (or individuals) who provide relief or temporary care and support for families or other providers. These services typically will involve overnight care.
  • In Home Care:
    An individual (or individuals) who provide temporary support services or care in the home or residential setting of the person(s) being served. These services and supports are non-medical and do not involve overnight care.
  • Community Access:
    An individual (or individuals) who provides a combination of training and support to promote independence, self sufficiency and community inclusion.

THERAPISTS & COUNSELORS

The CARE Association offers therapists and counselors professional liability insurance.
